My Sunday...

I had a very fun day today. Here are some things I now love in life:

Getting wet
starting trends
falling into mud puddles
setting off the car alarm while dripping mud
getting embarrassed
laughing
feeding the fish whipped cream
losing my sister's flip-flop (whoops)
singing Taylor Swift loudly
the centipede
deleting pictures (or trying to)
eating water-ice
doing 3-legged races (heehee)
losing three-legged races
getting 2nd in them (oh yeah)
walking around the park w/ friends all tied together (five-legged style)
getting raw ankles
sliding down the slide
discussing purple dinos and such w/ Rachael
swinging on the roller coaster swing
playing with Silas and Micah
trying to catch the ice-cream man (and not succeeding)
sucking in balloons and talking like a chipmunk
walking pigeon-toed w/ Talyn (she started it)
doing summersaults
making friends

and many, many, many more things. :) All done my 3 very fun BG friends, Zoe, Talyn, and Emma. Also known as Ma. :) God is so good to provide girls going on this church plant!!!!! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and their summer for that matter. :)

Life

"Count it pure joy whenever you face trials of any kind" James 1:2

This is my second attempt at sharpie doodling. Not too much better. If you look closely you can see all different things I like and am interested in. (and some that are a part of my life though I'd rather them not be.. like dish soap) It's a doodle of my life. :) Enjoy. :) I have to chores to do  now so tootles....

p.s. I'd appreciate any advice and criticism on the drawing. :) Much love,

Becky

dripping butterflies

a wise son heeds his father's instruction, but a mocker does not listen to rebuke. Proverns 13:1
So I know I've been posting a lot, suprisingly I've found time. Anyway this is my first ever sharpie doodle. It is an absolute failure but I am posting it so I can always remember my first attempt. :P I'm calling it dripping butterflies. Can you see the big butterfly?  (it's made up of a bunch of dripping paint) It was originally going to be Sherwin Williams butterfly spatter but that was a little lame and you can't even tell the paint cans say Sherwin Williams so that quickly got scrapped. I did it late last night and am now very tired. That's just about it...

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

I'm in a very complicated decision right now. Well see I really want to skip a grade in Math but it's not exactly easy to just plain out skip Algebra 1 and know what you are doing in Algebra 2. So.... I am considering doing Algebra one over the summer. Which is only two months. Pretty darn crazy I know. I'm praying about it and will probly decide by Monday. :P

btw: My favorite house is coming along just dandy! We are currenty working on trying to get the rest of the tests finished and figured out. But as long as everything goes alright we will have settlement July 20th!!!!! Thank God! :)

fun fellowshipping. :)

Well I had an amazing fun fun time today. I had a couple of the younger girls that are going to the awesomest Brandywine Grace over this afternoon and we had a blast. It was so great to get to relate to them about the church plant and get to know them a little bit better. :) We had lots of fun being mexicans in Carvel and cracking up laughing while playing slap jack on the stinky rug. (yeah that got pretty crazy) Now I am really excited for the church plant! It is going to be so great. :) And we also got to drive by own soon-to-be house (Lord willing) and I found out we are like 2 miles from the Blakes! :) Yay! God is so great. It seems like everywhere I turn I can see him moving. He never ceases to amaze me. :) Hope you all enjoyed your weekend and are enjoying the summer!

"Strong with the mouth and quick with the hands"

My son, if you accept my words and store up my commandments within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God." Proverbs 2:1-5

rollercoastering.

We just got back from our vacation in Williamsburg. Yesterday we went to Busch Gardens and I got a great tan. :) But more importantly, I went on the scariest roller coaster there. Yep, the Griffon. It has a 205 ft. vertical drop (ahhemm yes) and a 103 vertical drop. Thank you very much. I can't really take full credit though because the first time it was my delirious sister who made me go on. But anyway after that we preceded to go on it 4 more times, twice in the FRONT row. Which was the best because they stop you right at the top of the big drop so your feet are dangling over the edge and you are looking at all the tiny little people... and then they just plain out drop you. It was so much fun.

Now I must tell you about some very fun fabric that I am extremely excited about. It's like a  white and navy/gray print and I got yellow buttons and yellow ribbon to accent it. I'm making a summer dress. I'll let you all know when I'm done it. Thanks to kt for helping me pick out all the stuff.

summer...

My summer so far has been very un-eventful unfortunately. So I have nothing exciting to write about. I haven't really sewn anything yet because I have no fabric or thread so once I babysit a little and get some money and then buy fabric I'll sew and then post what I sew. But until then, my life will be somewhat post-less and sew-less. So sorry. I did make a strange thing from some of my old buttons though. I was going through them last night and thinking what a shame it is that they are so pretty but I never really use them. So I made and interesting looking-vine-tree thing. I'm probly going to mount it on a board of wood and then hang it up someplace. We'll see. Here is a picture:

I just had an idea. Starting today, I think I'll add a bible verse (or verses) to every post. That might be pretty cool. :) Here's today's then: Psalms 14: 1-3

The fool says in his heart, "There is no God" They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good. The Lord looks down from Heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.
