"Between sinners, and the wrath of God, stands the cross." Mr. Lynch said this in one of his recent messages ( a couple weeks ago i think) and I was just thinking about it today. How amazing is that? God, who is perfect in every way gave up His one and ONLY son for us!!!!!!! How great is God's mercy and love that He would do that for us??
This is a simple illustration I did to what Mr. Lynch said. It didn't turn out quite like how I wanted it. For instance, I sort of wanted my clouds to look somewhat intimidating, and not like puffy meatballs. And my sinner turned out to be a big-calved sillutte. But whatever. Let me know any criticism you have!
I love this! One of my favorites of your's. You should definitely come back to it at some point and enhance it. One, ok maybe two, thoughts: I think it would be cool if the person was smaller, and the other things were more emphasized... the negative things around him, the storm, and especially the cross. The other thought is, as much as I like the design of the words you put on there, they seem to flow gracefully about and resemble beautiful angel wings... I think it would be a little more effective if they were still in a cool pattern but were more like snares/snarls/thorns etc... and somehow the person was breaking through because of the cross? Haha, that might be a totally different picture/illustration. Just a few thoughts!
ReplyDeleteWow, Em, that was so helpful!!! I cannot thank you enough for your advice!!!! I will definitely change it. I definitely agree with you. Maybe if I had the words/sin coming from the bottom to choke the sinner, instead of coming from him? `And all the other brilliant advice you gave too. :D
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! Glad it was helpful!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that sounds great for the words! Make sure you show me if you end up changing it :o)
